We recently enjoyed a family vacation at Morgedal during Easter, and it presented a cozy escape for us. The hotel is in a serene area, surrounded by stunning Norwegian forests, and we loved the snowshoe walks just a stone's throw from the property. The staff were friendly and provided us with maps for expeditions, though we found some activities closed, like the ski museum. The restaurant offered a reliable dining experience, with a tasty yet limited menu for dinner. Breakfast was delightful and varied, perfect for both kids and adults. My children particularly enjoyed the special pancake breakfast! The swimming pool was a hit, especially with the view of snow-covered fields. Morgedal proved to be a comfortable retreat for families seeking relaxation and some adventure. I look forward to another visit when more of the area is open!
